  14. The problem:

  16.     Atleast in 128,256,15K and 16K colors modes colornumbers 
  17.     64-191 get a wrong color at every 8th pixel. So if I have
  18.     a solid background using any color between the mentioned range
  19.     I get a fullscreen vertical stripes every 8th pixel boundary.
  20.  
  21.     Stripes affect all graphics: lines, text, window borders,
  22.     areafill and moving or static gfx. So if I draw a box (e.g.
  23.     with color 64) the box gets those stripes and if I cut and
  24.     paste the box it will then get the old stripes and new stripes.

  26.     I checked it with DPaint, prefs/palette and photogenics
  27.     programs. Due the lack of good 24bit pictures I'm not
  28.     sure about 16M colors modes. Resolution didn't make any
  29.     difference.

  31. The setup:
  32.     A3000/030/882/25MHz/KS 40.68/WB 40.42 (doughterboard is v7/01)
  33.     2Mb chip/12Mb 32bit fast/4Mb 16bit fast
  34.     Quantum & Dec HDDs & Nec CDROM (with external power)
  35.     CV64 2Mb (SN 81xxxx and slowbuster on) and a balloon tube Nec3D
  36.     800x600x256 in use..

  39.     libs:    cybervision    v1.38
  40.         cyberlayers    v40.8
  41.         cyberintuition    v40.30
  42.     cvmode    v1.5

  44.     I got ..-install 2.15 (noticed the problem) and then
  45.     installed 2.15 upgrade and no difference.

  47. I have already tried:

  49.     clean startup (only the needed to make the system boot)
  50.     clean wbstartup (same)
  51.     no external SCSI devices
  52.     no 16bit memory
  53.     slowbuster on/off (jp1)
  54.  
  55. On the other hand the system is _stable_. No strange crashes etc. The
  56. speedup was amazing.. so whatta f......?
